Add an Image to your Project

If you want to add images or other kinds of resources to your project, like audio or video, right click on your project and in the "Add" menu select Add Files.   Alternatively use the Command-Option-A keybinding.  

Pick the files that you want to add to your project and then select Override Default Build Action in the dialog box.    And select the Build Action to be Content:

Alternatively, if you already have added your images and would like to turn those images into resources that can be used by your application (for example to load them in your application using UIImage.FromFile) you can do this by changing the Build Action directly in the Properties Window (available by selecting View->Properties option from the menus:
